I read this in a book. It is called Sun Stand Still by Steven Furtick. If you are looking to grow more audacious in your faith in God I challenge you to read it.
"Here is another reason you've got to learn to cling to the goodness of God: sometimes he pressures of your daily stuggles can push your belief system beneath the surface. Immediate pain and struggles can color the lens through which we view all of God's past, present, and future activities in our lives. We can easily lose track of the truth. And in the emotional haze, it doesn't take long for us to start thinking that the goodness of God is a lie.
But look back at your life. Remember. No matter what you've been through or are going to go through now, God has been good to you. You're here. You're alive. You're breathing. he has let you see another day. And he has brought you to this page with a sincere desire that you will experience more of him.
He has been good to you. And when you remember that fact, it changes the way you see your challenges. David said it like this:
'Praise the Lord, O my soul'
And forget not all your benefits-
who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion.' ~psalm 103:2-4 "
